About Bruce Wattendorf
I'm Bruce, and I build software for the people who make and fix things.
Free for shops
- StitchBench: runs a sewing-machine repair shop (tickets, parts, customers).
- StitchShop: the same for embroidery and decorating shops, from orders to jobs.
- StitchHub: the community server these programs connect to, so shops can share
notes, parts and manual links.
For makers
- StitchFoundry: open-source machine-embroidery digitizing, built on VectorCraft.
- MakerFoundry: a home for 3D printing and custom-made orders, where shops can
take orders from customers.
- LightFoundry: a separate open-source program in the same family.
And one for everyone
- The Daily Grind: an app for people who grind their teeth.
The shop tools and the open-source programs are free to use: no subscriptions,
no ads. They're paid for by YouTube and by donations like yours.
A donation is a gift. It doesn't unlock features or earn priority support, and it
isn't a tax-deductible charitable contribution. Someone who gives nothing gets
exactly the same software as someone who gives every month. Donations aren't
refundable except where the platform's rules or the law require it.
What the money covers: hosting the community server, the tools I build with, and
my time.
