Über Buzzy Honey Bee
I’m the beekeeper behind Buzzy Honey Bee, and I’ve been completely hooked on honey bees. There’s something magical about watching a swarm settle into a new home and turn into a thriving colony – it never gets old. That’s what drives me every single day: giving these incredible little creatures a fighting chance in our busy corner of the UK.
As a registered swarm remover with the British Beekeepers Association right here in Nottingham, I run a completely free bee swarm removal service across Nottinghamshire. No call-out fees, ever. I turn up with my kit, gently collect the swarm, and give every single one a lovely new hive in my apiary. It’s proper community work – protecting local bees, keeping our gardens and orchards buzzing, and making sure families aren’t left panicking when a swarm appears on their fence or tree.
The truth is, every collection costs me time, fuel and equipment. That’s where you come in. Every coffee you buy here, every jar of my raw Nottingham honey you grab from the shop, or every little “thank you” donation you send makes a real, tangible difference. It means I can keep saying “yes” to the next call, keep the van topped up with petrol, and keep rescuing more swarms without ever charging a penny.
When you support me, you’re not just buying a coffee – you’re becoming part of a small but mighty team of bee lovers who are actually doing something good for Nottingham’s wildlife. You’ll get the warm fuzzy feeling of knowing you helped save a swarm that might otherwise have been lost. And who knows – one day you might even spot “your” bees foraging in your own garden!
So thank you, truly. Whether it’s a one-off coffee or you pop back every month, your support keeps this free service alive and lets me keep doing what I love most. Let’s keep Nottingham buzzing together.
