About Grant — Founder of Newsglish & Business English Teacher
Hey there! 👋 I'm Grant, a Business English teacher and the founder of Newsglish, a platform that helps professionals learn English through real news, real vocabulary, and real conversations.
I help people speak with more confidence, advance in their careers, and sound more natural in English, whether that's through live lessons, the content I create, or the tools I'm building.
Here's what I'm working on:
✅ Newsglish , a platform where you read real news articles rewritten for your level, with vocabulary and explanations built in. I believe the best way to learn a language is through stories that actually interest you like true crime, business drama, culture, science. Not boring textbook dialogues.
✅ Free weekly streams & content to help professionals improve their English in a real, practical way.
✅ Englishwithshorts, short, bite-sized lessons pulled from real YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram videos, perfect for learning on the go.
I believe learning English should be fun, useful, and connected to real life — not just grammar rules in a textbook. That's the idea behind everything I make, from my lessons to Newsglish itself: if the story is interesting, the learning happens naturally.
If you've found any of this helpful and want to support the work, buy me a coffee! ☕ Every coffee helps me:
🎤 Keep creating high-quality live lessons
📰 Keep building and improving Newsglish
📚 Develop new resources, exercises, and tools for learners like you
No pressure — just knowing you're here and learning is already amazing. But if you'd like to support the mission, you can grab me a coffee here. Thanks for being part of this journey! 🚀
