I am so excited to begin my journey in my next chapter in life. I will be creating a positive environment to share my knowledge and learn from others. It was a tough decision to leave my corporate job but, as with many others, the pandemic really had me thinking.

Was I living the life I craved? How was my work/ life balance?

Let’s just say there wasn’t any balance. I was already working long hours and the pandemic seemed to make it worse. I spent less and less time with my family and more at work. It started taking a toll on my health. My husband who suffers from PTSD from his many deployemnts and work in law enforcement was also doing worse.

So, I took control of my life. I can say that it has made life better. Also, I was able to travel and see my mother and siblings for the first time in 15 years! So, now I live my true self. I listen to my gut and my body now. However, my journey has just begun. Due to the pandemic a trip to the Philippines to scatter my mother-in-law in her homeland has been post poned until further notice. It was another upset for my husband. I was crushed for him but I am determined to get him there. His PTSD has been harsh making him somewhat agrophobic. The fact that he is willing to go to the Philippines is like, “Whaaaat?”.

So please share my story even if you are unable to donate. I appreciate your follow on my social media platforms.

Thank you for your support and live your true life!

Warms regards,

Bu Dominguez
