Supporters get priority features added (BudgieBackup or Fearby Screen Saver).

I have purchase code signing certificates to ensure Budgie Backup and the Screen Saver are robust and secure solutions. I plan on purchasing a NAS to build in backup to NAS features and add more features to the screen saver to make it realistic

All remaining money will go into to the https://budgiebackup.com and Fearby.com web server and developing feature the Budgie Backup and Screen Saver.

My aim is to keep Budgie Backup and the Screen Saver $0 and Ad Free.

About the developer.

My first few pay checks - from my first IT retail job back in the 1990s - went into buying a 2x CD-RW burner (not DVD) and a 13GB hard drive (not TB). This was a time when 2GB storage and 1.44 megabyte floppies were the norm.

Programming was a hobby for me at this time. I transitioned into programming medical software in Sydney, Australia, then moved through a dozen IT roles over the past 25 years - Helpdesk, Field Support, Web Administrator, Database Design and Development, Strategy and Innovation, System Administrator, and more.

From IT retail to working with large statewide IT systems, the need to back up data is a frequent observation of mine.

IT career aside, backing up family photos and videos is a top priority for me.

I have developed 3d screen savers since the late 1990's (VB6 and DirectX 7).
