It’s been a while! Happy Holidays - hope you are all well in these busy or lonely times. I’m doing alright. Both in real life and in Souls.
The last time I posted a roster update was on December 9 (!). Game level has increased from 107 to 112. While Soul Link went from 390 to 415. A total of 9 heroes now have purple stars with 3 maxed heroes out at 5 purple stars. Technically they are 20 star heroes when all levels of stars are considered. Both Kaion and Milia have their engravings maxed out at 40. Kaion has all his equipment upgraded to the maximum. The top of my roster is getting quite formidable. In regular Arena, I can regularly place myself in the top five while in Advanced Arena the top twenty is generally where I’m at.
Part of the reason I’m successful though is because some of the whales have left the G1 server and the game itself. It’s sad to see turnover. As I get closer to maxed out characters and the grind gets longer, I question if I will also drop out soon. I don’t want to. It’s just that the game is sucking up a lot of time daily. The only thing that could keep me longer is a little less daily demands and more community. I have a few friends in the game but over all community is hard to find. I mean with the way the game is designed maybe community isn’t really viable.
I’m not a fan of the latest added area, Dimensional Rift. Didn’t really like it in Beta. This official release of it feels even more tedious than the Beta version. Maybe I will learn to lmlike it. The holiday board game event was fun though. :)
