My name is Buckey Turk. My wife, Carolyn, and I live in Bryan/College Station Texas. We are both Graduates of Texas A&M University in 83’ & 84’. We became involved in directly supporting Ukraine soon after the Feb 24th 2022 attacks started. We have been raising funds here locally since April 2022. We started by assisting a single soldier and his family. We have gradually expanded that to include his squad and his 18 yr old son who is also serving. We are now working to raise funds for first responders equipment and Ukrainian soldiers & their families. All aid is used for non-lethal equipment and/or supplies.

We were raising funds to supply insulated coveralls for Ukrainian First Responders and Firefighters. These are extreme weather coveralls produced for the US oilfield industry. They are fully insulated, well made, fire resistant and extremely durable. We have been offered these for approximately $10. They are brand new and normally cost $150-$250. There are 800 pairs. We are asking that you consider sponsoring a pair for $10 or more, or multiple pairs in increments of $10 each. We have commitments to sponsor the transportation costs from the US to Ukraine. We are working on finding discounted transportation from their location, Bryan Texas, to New Jersey for transhipment to Kivi. These will be donated for use by first responders in Ukraine. Highest priority will be given to firefighters, rescuers and EMT personnel.
