If you're an ID in a company that has a UX team, then you should be getting to know them. Help them. Find out what they are trying to accomplish and help them solve some of their problems with a short term training fix. It's a value to the business that will be seen and appreciated.
Watch this short (5mins) part of a conversation we had recently with an ID and UX designer on the halfTiLT live stream.
