I've came to France two weeks ago planning to start a new life, after having lived 2 years in Italy.

From the day Ive set foot in this new country, I felt something was off. Ive realized I have no idea where Im going with my life, or who I am, or anything really.

All these doubts added to my very tight financial situation made me decide to embark on what could be described as a spiritual journey, and I hope to find myself on the way.

On the 24th of October I'll leave Bordeaux and start to walk south until Saint Jean Pied de Port, where I will then take the Camino Frances heading west to Santiago de Compostela.

I want this journey ideally to be close to the original pilgrims of many centuries ago. Im carrying very simple things, and trying to do this as piously and humbly as possible.

I will sleep on a hammock in the woods, drink water from public fountains, abstain from alcohol and tobacco.

AND BECAUSE OF THAT, I will need to count on the kindness and generosity of friends and strangers, especially to be able to eat at least once a day.

I will try to post on Instagram every step of the way.
