About My Writing, Especially my songwriting and ‘My Purple Hat Syndrome’ which I will explain here.
Yes, my writing is MY writing- I write songs and have for years and always with a melody in my head.
I DO NOT USE AI TO WRITE FOR ME. I have been writing songs most likely longer than AI has even existed. I have used AI for specific images as cover images on articles, or posts but I always give credit where credit is due. I once used Grok to turn a sketch, or doodle drawing, into a cartoon video, and it was Grok that created a ‘Purple Hat’ picture of a younger ‘me’ using my instructions. I also created a short video with that Purple Hat image with Grok and created a few to put together because I was considering putting my songs on YouTube but, I haven’t done that yet and I’m not sure I’m going to. Here’s why:
I would rather negotiate with a singer who needs good songs to sing, HIT songs to sing but, if I don’t hear something from someone soon I pray, then I may reconsider the other and give it a try, idk yet.🤔
However, I found Suno where I became a member, so that I can put some of my voice in or, just choose a type of voice close to mine or the way I want it to sound and, I choose instruments, style, genre, among other. Then, Suno does the rest BUT, it isn’t until I hear it the way it is meant to be, the way it is in my head and in my heart, that I then publish it- the way it’s meant to be.
Yes, I was once a singer and in a band once but that’s when I was much younger than I am now. I just didn’t like the ‘night life’ and everything that came with it.
Ironically, I had some very good, authentic, offers to take my singing and songwriting to another level but, those offers caused me to have to make a decision- a decision to choose between singing and family- I chose my children who are my family, over singing. It was that simple.
On one hand, it was a tough decision but, on the other was my children- my little family and, that’s the hand that made the decision so much easier to choose- I chose to be a Mother to my children and our little family.
Yes, I still write. I still write songs and sometimes, I still sing. Not in public, nor at events- just at home, when I feel like it, and now and then a short piece on Suno then, allow Suno to do the rest the way I described before. I am physically disabled due to an accident, a hereditary disease, and have other issues- I’ll leave it at that.
* However, I’m open to negotiations if anyone should want to sing one (or more) of my songs I’ve written. Most of them have copyright anywhere from 1977-2026. Many, or most, of them I recorded back around 2002-2005 but, some I’ve revised the music to and, may or may not have slightly revised the to.
I hope this clears up any questions about my writing, songwriting, poetry…. all of it.
Thank you for reading. I hope I’ve shed some light on things; answered some questions; and educated in some way.

‘My Purple Hat Syndrome’ is my way of saying: “I’m just not able to begin a new career in singing and music and, I’m physically disabled to so, this is my version of ‘The Lady With The Red Hat’ whom I still do not know who originally wrote that piece. I wish I did so that I may give credit where credit is due. Tammy B.
Thank you again for reading.
PS. Please don’t take this the wrong way. I only meant to explain my writing and singing. I once was in a band and I used to sing songs by various artists such as Joan Jett, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Leigh Ann Rhymes, Dixie Chicks… and many others- Any style or genre, in any chord, and I had some of my own songs that I wrote, recorded and copyrighted.
Now you’re up to date on when the offers started coming in and that decision I had to make. Yes, I was a Mom and I chose my children and family over becoming a big time singer and songwriter.
Do I see it as a mistake now? NOT AT ALL, without a doubt!
Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful day and/or night! 😊. Tammy B ❤️🩹❤️😊
