Good afternoon/evening, friends. Welcome to the Christmas Eve dispatch. 
We woke up this morning in the pastel suburbs of America. The lawns are manicured. The neighbors are waving. But looming over the entire town, up on the dark hill, is the Gothic mansion of Washington D.C.
We are living through Edward Scissorhands. The government we have inherited is unfinished, dangerous, and armed with blades where its hands should be. It tries to "help," to enforce laws, to fix problems, but every time it touches something, it cuts.
The "Inventor" (The Constitution) left us with a creation that doesn't know how to love us without hurting us. And down here in the neighborhood, the mob is gathering, the religious fanatics are screaming, and the snow falling on our lawns looks suspiciously like the shredded remains of the Rule of Law. I went up to the castle yesterday. Here is what I found in the attic.
✋ The Hands. The SCOTUS Ruling. Edward’s tragedy is that his hands are weapons. Yesterday, Trump tried to lower those weapons onto the city of Chicago. He attempted to deploy the National Guard (the Scissorhands) to enforce domestic immigration laws. But the Supreme Court, in a rare moment of clarity, grabbed his wrists.
In a 6-3 ruling (The Red Line), they told the President: No. You cannot touch the suburbs. Citing the Posse Comitatus Act, they stopped the military from becoming a police force. They recognized that if you let a man with scissors for hands patrol the streets, people are going to get cut.
👿 Jim the Bully. The Colbert Threat. "Get the hell out of here, you freak!" We all remember Jim, the violent, jealous bully who hated Edward. Yesterday, Trump channeled that exact energy on Truth Social. He called Stephen Colbert a "dead man walking" and explicitly suggested CBS should "put him to sleep" as a "humanitarian" act (The "Humanitarian" Threat).
It wasn't politics; it was the rage of a bully who wants to eliminate anyone who laughs at him. Jim didn't just want Edward gone; he wanted him destroyed. Trump is signaling the same intent for the press.
🏰 The Inventor’s Blueprint. The Epstein Convergence. The mansion is full of dark secrets. We finally found the blueprints that explain the monster. The new DOJ documents (The Convergence) reveal that the government knew about the defect all along.
An internal DOJ email from 2020 admits they knew Trump flew with Epstein "many more times" than reported, including with his children. The Limo Driver described the "stone cold" reality of 1995. The "Inventor" (The DOJ) had the files. They knew the hands were dangerous. They knew the history. But they left the creation alone in the castle and hoped we wouldn't notice.
🌳 The Topiary. The Southern Command Strikes. Edward trims the hedges into beautiful shapes. The U.S. military is trimming the ocean, but the result isn't art. It’s death. Southern Command announced another strike on a "drug boat" yesterday. That makes 105 dead bodies in four months (The Pacific Graveyard).
They claim they are "sculpting" a safer world (stopping drugs), but they are doing it by executing civilians at sea without trial. It is the Scissorhands unleashed without a conscience, cutting down anything that looks like a weed.
🚔 The Mob. The Police Hazing. "He's dangerous! He's a daemon!" When the town turns on Edward, the mob becomes the monster. An AP investigation (The Thin Blue Hazing) reveals that police academies are turning into their own angry mobs.
Recruits, especially Black men and women, are being subjected to "combat drills" that function as hazing. It isn't training; it’s the community chasing the "outsider" with pitchforks, beating them until they quit or break.
🔥 Esmeralda. The Vance Rewrite. Remember the religious neighbor, Esmeralda, who played the organ and screamed that Edward was a perversion of nature? Meet J.D. Vance.
Vance stood up at Turning Point USA and screamed that America has "always" been a Christian Nation (The Wall They Built). He is the Esmeralda of this movie, using a twisted version of faith to stoke fear. As I proved, the Founders built a wall specifically to keep Esmeralda off the porch. He is trying to burn that wall down in the name of God.
"You see, before he came down here, it never snowed. And afterwards, it did."
It’s Christmas Eve. The "snow" is falling. But it isn't snow. It’s the ice shavings of the institutions being carved up by the man in the castle. It’s beautiful, in a tragic way. We are seeing the truth (the files, the rulings, the leaks) fall around us because the machinery is grinding itself apart.
We can't go up to the castle and fix his hands. The scars are permanent. But we can refuse to become the mob. We can refuse to listen to Esmeralda. And we can protect the people Jim is trying to hurt. Stay warm. Watch the sky. And remember: the story only ends well if we tell the truth about what happened in that mansion.
