Hello, Happy December and Welcome, Friends!
Before we jump in, let me start with the obvious. I woke up this week expecting to share reporting, not fight my own platform for the right to exist. My Facebook page, the one many of you have relied on every single day for breaking analysis and watchdog work, was suddenly suspended. No warning. No explanation. No violation listed. Just a locked door with a shrug. I reached out to Meta support and got the same grey fog so many of you have experienced. Apparently my activity pattern looked “unusual.” Translation. I was too active. Too responsive. Too engaged. Too present. In other words, the system punished me for doing the job they claim to support.
I am still in limbo as I write this. Still refreshing screens. Still waiting for the promise that “it should be restored today.” I have built this page for years and poured thousands of hours into it, all with the goal of making complicated events understandable. To have it frozen without explanation is not only frustrating. It is a reminder of how fragile independent journalism is when Big Tech decides to flip a switch. The truth is simple. If I were posting cooking videos or cat memes they would not have touched the account. But a page that documents the abuses of Trump’s administration is always on borrowed time.
If you are reading this, you are already part of the backup plan. Substack, email and direct access bypass the platforms that can erase voices by pressing a button. So thank you for sticking with me through this mess. And thank you for understanding that while they try to silence the page, they will not silence the work.
Let’s begin with the one that hit like a double thunderclap. Trump’s unilateral airspace closure over Venezuela. A reckless move with no consultation and no allies. The decision was announced with the kind of swagger that ignores consequences. It creates tension in a region already stacked with instability, and it leaves diplomatic channels scrambling to catch up to a president who treats international airspace like a toy he can snap in half.
That snap matters because it connects directly to the administration’s broader pattern. The same pattern revealed in the Oligarch Pipeline pieces. The reporting showed how Trump’s inner circle has been quietly shaping foreign policy into a joint venture for a small group of wealthy insiders. Deals in Ukraine reconstruction. Resource extraction in the Arctic. Options in space development. Everything framed as “peace” but really built as a private profit machine. When they say the quiet part out loud, it sounds exactly like this. If everyone makes billions, there will be peace. As if wars are not fought over power but over insufficient dividends.
From there the puzzle pieces start locking together. Trump’s tariff tantrum, the one he pretends is a patriotic stand against globalist elites, is just another tax on working families. The Costco story makes that clear. When the company challenges his tariff hikes in court, it becomes a test of how much power he can grab by calling taxes something else and hoping the average consumer never notices who is actually paying the bill.
The same authoritarian reflex shows up again in the Venezuela Double Tap story. Reckless militarism from the top brass mixes with meme politics in a way that should terrify anyone who remembers how quickly strongmen collapse the space between joking and doing. We are watching political theater bleed into military decision making, and every day it becomes harder to tell which part is performance and which part is policy.
Layered on top of that mess is something darker. The ICE detention of a Native American icon, an act that exposed how deeply the administration’s immigration machine has collapsed accountability. When the federal system detains tribal citizens and cannot or will not explain itself, it proves what many have warned about for months. The machinery has slipped beyond legal guardrails.
Then there is the MRI story. Trump was asked why he underwent a nonstandard medical test, and instead of answering he pivoted to freeform nonsense. The secrecy surrounding his health has become a constitutional problem, not a personal one. When a president with enormous power shows signs of cognitive decline, and the people around him hide the truth, the consequences reach far beyond one bad press conference.
Finally, we return to the thread that ties it all together. Trump’s Thanksgiving tirade. A rant that read like a drunken voicemail from someone who burned the turkey and decided to blame the neighbors. It was unstable, petty and revealing. It showed a president who cannot control his impulses and cannot take responsibility for anything, including the chaos he creates at home and abroad.
Taken together, these stories are not isolated incidents. They are chapters in the same book. A government run by emotional impulse, private profit and authoritarian instinct. A government that punishes truth tellers, targets critics and hides its most basic operations from the people it serves.

You are more informed than ninety percent of the country and that is not an exaggeration. Knowledge pushes back against the darkness they are trying to spread.
