Good afternoon, Friends.
Today feels very different. Not just because of the news, but because of life itself. After more than twenty years of working under someone elseâs name, someone elseâs paycheck, someone elseâs control, I am now standing entirely on my own. For the first time, I donât have an employer. I have a purpose. I donât have a job. I have workâŚthe kind that matters.
This moment is both humbling and surreal. Iâve dreamed about devoting myself fully to writing, to speaking truth, to documenting this era in real time. But I never expected that dream to collide with a moment like this in history, where truth itself feels like an endangered species. Iâm no longer sustained by a corporation. Iâm sustained by the peopleâŚby you. And I donât take that lightly. Every post I write, every story I chase, every night I stay up late piecing together whatâs really happening in our country, itâs powered by your trust.
Itâs not lost on me that this is both terrifying and liberating. Itâs stepping off the ledge and discovering a bridge you canât yet see. But thatâs what faith looks like in the real worldâŚnot the blind kind, but the kind that says, âIâll walk anyway.â Iâm beyond grateful that so many of you are walking with me.

Today is a very big day. For the first time in my life, I am unemployed, in a sense. Or maybe itâs more accurate to say that Iâm free. Iâm now doing this full-time. Writing, reporting, investigating, and standing up for truth has officially become my lifeâs work. And honestly, I never thought I would be able to say that out loud. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/a-leap-of-faith-leaving-the-machine
We are entering a moment when surveillance is no longer a secondary tool for law enforcement. It is becoming infrastructure itself. Tools like WebLoc and Tangles mark a new stage in digital control where location data, social media behavior, and artificial intelligence converge into a single, continuous map of human activity. Once that net is bought and deployed, it does not just monitor criminals. It monitors the living. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/surveillance-as-infrastructure-new
It began as another enforcement sweep, another name on a growing list of operations meant to project power inside the countryâs borders. âOperation Midway Blitzâ was pitched as a coordinated crackdown on undocumented migration and âanti-ICE activity.â In reality, it was something darker. What unfolded on the streets of Chicago this week was not just a tactical blunder. It was a turning point. A Border Patrol task force, acting under a federal directive, shot an unarmed protester in broad daylight, and the story they told afterward began to crumble almost immediately. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/operation-midway-blitz-when-border
In an era defined by disinformation, Fox News may have reached a new low in its quest for drama over truth. For weeks now, the network has aired a bizarre series of segments featuring masked âguestsâ claiming to be a âformer Antifa member,â an âex-gang member,â and other assorted âinsiders.â Each appearance is presented as exclusive testimony, raw, dangerous, and anonymous. Yet something about these masked men has struck viewers as oddly familiar. The build, the cadence, the eyes, even the voice. Internet sleuths think theyâve cracked the mystery. Itâs the same man every time, and it might just be Robert J. OâNeill, the Navy SEAL who claims to have killed Osama bin Laden. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/the-mystery-of-the-masked-guest-is
Matt Van Epps wants you to believe heâs the kind of leader who serves, not the kind who obeys. But peel back the campaign branding, the decorated Army veteran and patriot image, and what you find is not a man of independence but a product of loyalty politics. His rĂŠsumĂŠ is impressive on paper, sure. West Point graduate, combat pilot, government commissioner. Yet the question every voter should ask is not what heâs done, but who he serves. And the answer, judging by his campaign, is Donald Trump. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/the-making-of-another-yes-man-why
Two hundred sixty-one days after Ghislaine Maxwellâs last appeal was denied, the Department of Justice has released what it calls the âfinal recordâ of her cooperation. What follows is not closure. Itâs concealment. The Department of Justice has quietly released the transcripts and partial audio of Ghislaine Maxwellâs July 2025 interviews with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche (seen here doing his best impression of a âtough-guyâ). https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/epstein-files-day-261-the-redacted
Trumpâs feed just lit up with victory laps about his handpicked bootlicker and wildly unqualified FBI Director, Kash Patel, âcleaning house,â firing agents who once knelt during the George Floyd protests, and vowing that âno one is above the law.â It reads like accountability. It feels like law-and-order. It is neither. What youâre seeing is a loyalty campaign dressed up as reform, a public-pressure operation that bends professional standards into political theater. https://open.substack.com/pub/brentmolnar/p/trump-kash-patel-and-the-politicization
As I close todayâs TL;DR, I just want to say thank you. I mean that in the deepest sense possible. Thank you for giving me a reason to take this leap. Thank you for reminding me that independent voices still matter, that truth still matters, and that courage still counts for something.
I donât know exactly what the road ahead looks like, but I know this much: itâs worth walking. Every word I write from here forward will be built on gratitude and conviction. The kind that only comes from losing something familiar to gain something real.
So hereâs to this next chapter. Hereâs to leaving the machine. Hereâs to doing something honest and human in a time when both feel rare. My life has changed forever todayâŚand if youâve been part of that change, youâve changed more than one life.

đ I wrote Make Afterlife Great Again Books 1 and 2 to answer the question nobody else dared: what happens when Donald Trump dies and neither Heaven nor Hell will take him? Picture Danteâs Inferno colliding with Veep. Both volumes are my work and are available now in paperback, hardcover, Kindle, and audiobook.
