Hey—I’m Brent.

I’m a software engineer, miniature and figure painter, 3D printing enthusiast… and a full-time caregiver for my wife and son.

Painting and creating became more than a hobby for me—they became part of how I slow down, recharge, and take care of myself while caring for the people I love.

Through Brent the Programmer, I share that journey: painting miniatures and 1:6 scale figures, 3D printing projects, hobby progress, lessons learned, and honest conversations about creativity, caregiving, burnout, and self-care.

I’m not here trying to build a giant empire.

I just love making cool things, sharing the process, and hopefully creating a welcoming little corner of the internet for anyone who enjoys the hobby—or just needs a reminder to slow down and breathe.

If you enjoy what I’m sharing and want to support the journey, buying a coffee helps keep resin in the tank, filament in the AMS, and paints on the rack.

And truly—just being here means a lot.

Thanks for stopping by.

**Trust the process. Take care of yourself. One brushstroke at a time.**
