The Friends & Fiction Official Book Club with Brenda and Lisa is is a tightly knit, supportive group of book lovers and writers that is now 38,000 members strong. It is run by avid readers and book besties Brenda Gardner and Lisa Harrison. Brenda and Lisa select a book each month for members to read and stream a live discussion with the author (including spoilers!) to the page where members can view, chat with each other, and ask live questions. They also hold a quarterly Happy Hour with rockstar librarian friend Ron Block, special bookish events and pop-ups, as well as an annual reading challenge with prompts for each month. Moderators Molly and Amber assist with the many administrative duties of the book club.

The Friends & Fiction Book Club with Brenda and Lisa has won two national awards: the AAMBC book club of the year in 2024 and the Zibby Award for "best virtual book club" This year, the book club is holding a five-year LIVE, in-person anniversary weekend in Atlanta to celebrate, and funds are needed to hold this amazing event, purchase items for giveaways, and pay expenses of the book club.
