I had the opportunity to paint a custom set of paintings for a good friend of mine. This friend had throat cancer fucking TWICE & her mother now has breast cancer.
As someone who has witnessed first-hand the effects of chemo, radiation, and treatment, it hit a little too close to home. I procrastinated on the project until I literally couldn’t. This set took me upwards of 10 hours to complete since the original draft was drawn by hand… then I had to draw it two more times.🙃
