Sometimes You Just Need to Listen to Self

Hello everyone! Today I am testing the audio version on Buy Me a Coffee. I had a little thought and I wanted to share it with you guys in voice. So back in 2019, I woke up with blood pressure that was stroke level. Essentially I had dissociated myself from the reality of my situation. I just kept going and going. I was living in survival mode, I guess that's what you call it these days. I had spent a summer without my kids and they had predominantly lived under my roof most of their lives, so I was not in a good head space about that. Not having them at all and just being able to go visit them, was very hard on me. I took it very HARD. I was in a rush to get into a place, and I am kind of sharing the story because I feel like you shouldn't share stories while you're in the midst of it. You'll be too emotional and if you wait until you're on the other side of mostly healed, then you're not as wounded and can share the experience from a space of logic, fewer emotions, and wisdom to perhaps help someone else going through something similar. I am currently planning to go on my first ever solo trip, maybe with 1 of my dogs, but it's just something I have to do to 1 test my anxiety of solo travel and 2 be proactive in knowing that my inner Self is off-kilter and I'd rather find a way to take a weekend alone than have an emotional outburst (they don't solve a thing).
