The short version is, why not?
Let's be clear, I'm going to write whatever. BOTW is not going beyond a pay wall. However the ability to let people contribute as I head into what is going to be an "interesting" year.
With the Bison on pause and my immediate plans not set in stone, what I'm doing this upcoming season is up in the air still. However this is a nice way to allow people to contribute if they've enjoyed what BOTW does and to allow me to put some money towards some of the bits that cost money like Spreaker to keep the audio stuff hosted or Google Workspace that I use for interviews and the like.
Please do not feel any obligation to do so. If you want to, then great.
