My name is Samantha Leifker, author of Born Awakened: An Otherworldly True Story.

I document personal experiences with the unexplained—encounters that began in the poltergeist house I grew up in and have continued throughout my life. These include out-of-body experiences, contact with many forms of non-human intelligence, UFO encounters, extrasensory perception, and countless paranormal events that challenge the way we understand reality.

Writing Born Awakened brought back memories I hadn't recalled and emotions I hadn't felt in years. It took everything in me to bring every experience, every memory, every detail, back to the surface.

I was the writer. The illustrator. The proofreader. The editor. The formatter. The publisher. It took courage to share everything I’d seen with the world, and even more strength to revisit and release what I'd carried for so long. It wasn't easy, but I believe stories like this deserve light, not silence.
