Tea Spotlight: Full Leaf Tea Company Organic Cold Remedy

Sep 09, 2026

Hello and welcome back to the Tea Spotlight!

A few weeks ago, I came down with a nasty cold. Stuffy nose; couldn't breathe; sore throat ... it was great (not). I didn't really take anything because I knew it was a cold and it would eventually go away, but this one stuck with me. (Probably because I continued to work and not rest!)

I tried one of the teas I have at home to help and it kind of did, but the cold continued to stay with me, like an unwelcomed visitor. However, it wasn't until I tried Organic Cold Remedy from Full Leaf Tea Company that I was finally able to kick the cold out.

Let me explain.

My mom saw an ad about Full Leaf Tea Company while watching TV and suffers from real bad arthritis, especially in her one knee. She asked me about it, since I'm the "tea expert" in the family, and I told her about my first experience with them and how much I truly love and trust their products. So, we went onto their website, found a tea she wanted to try for her arthritis, and ordered a sample size of it so she could see if she liked it or not. When it came in, they also sent a sample size of their Organic Cold Remedy, like they knew I was suffering from a nasty summer cold. I gave it a try and after one cup, I swear I was cured!

Okay, maybe not cured, but I was definitely feeling a thousand percent better. After the second cup, I was pretty much at 100%. I was honestly gob smacked. Like I said, I know their products are good and I can trust their stuff, but ... I wasn't expecting to be better that quickly, but the organic rooibos, cinnamon, elderberry, ginger root, rose hips, and echinacea found in this tea did their job and did it well. :-)

Now, I will admit, this one I was a little fearful of trying because of the elderberry and echinacea. I thought this was going to be a really tart flavor, which I am not a big fan of, BUT ... I was wrong. I mean, yes, I did get a little bit of the tart flavor, but it wasn't overpowering at all. I still got the spiciness from the cinnamon and the ginger root, and I still got the ... I still don't know how to describe rooibos tea, but I got that flavor as well. That's actually the more prominent taste I got after the first sip, then the cinnamon and ginger root, and then the elderberry and echinacea.

And like I said before, as I continued to sip this tea, I felt more and more better. My nose was clearing up; I was feeling more alert and awake and clear; my mind wasn't so foggy anymore. I even stopped typing for a hot second, realizing how I was feeling, and I was like, "Holy moly, this stuff is actually working!"

In the end, I HIGHLY recommend grabbing this tea, especially as we go into the cold and flu season. I may even drink it as a preventative. And make sure to peruse their website to see if there's anything else you may want to try because believe me when I say, Full Leaf Tea Company's tea will truly help you stay healthy.

(Oh, yeah, side note ... my mom loved the tea she got, so when she ordered more of hers, she got me more of the Organic Cold Remedy tea, so I'm now set. I truly have the best mommy ever!)

Thank you for joining me on this journey! Until next time, take care and drink on!

Please note, I am not getting paid to promote this tea or this brand. I am just a tea drinker trying some new teas to better my health.
