My name is Jaiden and I'm a high school senior trying to start a memorial scholarship in honor of my late grandfather, Jiang Ben Shan. My grandfather was a Chinese-Japanese translator, a huge lover of literature and language, and a preeminent moral philosopher if there ever was one. With your donation, I'll be able to create a scholarship in his honor for any high school senior trying to pursue higher education in any language-related field. As someone who was discouraged from pursuing the social sciences in favor of STEM, this would make a huge difference to any student who dreams of studying languages in college.
