Board games by candlelight, ancient stories, strange places and the occasional trip somewhere worth getting lost in. I’m David, a Scottish board game creator with a particular love for atmosphere, history and mythology. I make short reviews, unboxings and features that try to capture not just how a game plays, but the world it creates around the table. That might mean Viking voyages, Dante’s Hell, Tolkien’s Middle-earth, ancient gaming artefacts, or taking the camera with me to game shops and places around Scotland and further afield. I also make 3D-printed upgrades, run regular giveaways, and occasionally disappear down historical rabbit holes that probably weren’t necessary.
