I share stories from a life built a little closer to the wild — solo road trips, car camping, hot springs, public lands, and the creative projects inspired by the places I wander.

Much of my time is spent traveling through national forests and public lands for work, which has shaped how I move through these places: slower, more intentionally, and deeply connected to the landscapes and communities around them.

I think of it as soft adventure — finding ways to experience the outdoors that feel restorative, approachable, and a little more human. Sometimes that means sleeping in the back of my Subaru or wandering down a dirt road. Sometimes it’s soaking in a hot spring, making a cowboy old-fashioned beneath the junipers, or turning the colors of a favorite landscape into a bracelet.

This space is where all of those pieces come together.

I write about the places I go, the things I’m learning, what I’m creating, and the process of building a life that feels increasingly like my own.
