Last year's Shocktober Challenge nearly half killed me watching 99 films throughout October! So this year I said I wouldn't do it, but then I started watching horrors!
Shocktober 2025 was a tough one, it worked out with around 3-4 films a day and although I was aiming for 100 films, I fell short by one due to fatigue.
So this year for Shocktober 2026, I thought that I would step back a bit from the constant push to beat my previous years and just enjoy a couple of horrors a day or at least one a day.
Last night I started with Buzzkill on TUBI, then got caught in the flow by heading over to Miami Fox Streaming and watching the Anguish which took me by surprise on how much I enjoyed it, before following that with a very badly acted Rabid Grannies.
I ended the evening with a Stephen King classic, Graveyard Shift.
Now I just have to promise myself not to overdo do the movie watching for Shocktober this year, but with the likes of TUBI and Miami Fox Streaming having some fantastic stuff to watch, I'm going to have to keep strong 😉
