Bio: Ms. Tasi Beth currently lives with her tiwahe of kids, pets, and plants, in Brookings, SD, near where her mother's prairie matrilineage began with immigrant settlers from Cornwall and Scotland. Via her father, she is an enrolled member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe and was born in Pine Ridge. Just before the pandemic, a collective reading project of the Dakota literary tradition reawakened her interest in learning the stories of the domestic lives of the winyan of the Oceti Sakowin Oyate and decolonizing our ideas of house and home.
