Open Source contributor, author, community organizer.

I co-organize GopherCon, a community-focused conference for Go programmers held annually in Denver, Colorado. GopherCon's parent company is GopherAcademy which I founded with Erik St. Martin in the hopes of planting the seeds early in Go's growth curve for an open, inclusive, and friendly programming community. I work as a Developer Advocate on Open Source at Microsoft Azure. I love devops, containers, orchestration, Go, microservices, messaging, monitoring, and generally connecting things together that weren't previously connected.
