I've been writing software for 20+ years for companies like Amazon, InterContinental Hotels Group, and the Georgia Tech Research Institute. I got laid off in April of 2026 from Amazon after 9 years there. I figure that it's time to start writing software for myself. So, I built https://bitflinger.tv (one place to see what’s on your streaming services, and to keep track of what you want to watch. Works on phones, tablets and TVs) and most recently https://bitflinger.net/cocktails.html (Classic cocktails as ratios, with stand-ins worked out from your own bar). It’s just me, with no investors. Coffees go toward servers, app store fees, and the occasional actual coffee. We’re a family of five, so it all counts.

If you can’t chip in, trying one of the apps and leaving a review helps too.
