I am pleased to introduce a new supporter tier designed to help you get some unusual plants to include in your bird and nature-friendly habitat garden, whether it's on a rural property, a suburban street or a small patio/verandah, that you are unlikely to find in your local nursery!
You can select from a selected mix of plants (eg. flowers for each month, small flowering shrubs, fragrant plants), that I am growing as part of my own Habitat Gardening project, and I will send you 12 plants, in 50mm forestry tubes, via Australia Post.
These are plants that I am growing, so they will be supplied a few months after you make your selection from the collections I am growing. This will change over time, so after you choose the membership level, you will be contacted to make a choice. I can tell you that there are currently collections comprising Callistemons, Eucalypts, Melaleuca and Banksia.
These are all seed grown, and as we move into 2025 I will be adding cutting-grown plants to the collections.
When the 12 plants that make up YOUR selection, you will be contacted in order to check your address and inform you of the species that will be arriving, and you will be quoted a postage cost that you will be asked to pay before I can send you your plants.
I am really pleased to offer this tier to you all, as it will increase the sense of community amongst the Bird Emergency Habitat Gardeners, and increase the amount of interesting plants in our own gardens. In order to foster this community among gardeners, all subscribers to this tier will get access to the premium Discord channel for Habitat Gardeners.
