i got some catching up on sorting unsorted demos which can be draining, but since i have this crowd-fund/support page thing set up, i'm more inclined to re-evaluate my routine to be more professional/focusing on better upload frequency (yearly uploads not stable business model). also don't forget to take care of yourself - advice i will try to follow too. mental health is no small thing but i want to get things out. finding a balance - getting more in this youtube thing, hope i find it.
not sure about explaining my demo* file management and whole process right now in full detail, more likely when i got the ball rolling for the channel more. over time i've been trying to get my folders more organized for future use, which also may make it easier to sort while in-game, lessening chance of having a big backlog of unsorted demos. at the very least i try to rename every recorded demo i have in game so i'm not completely lost while sorting. i use p-rec – which makes the initial demo file name much easier to follow (automatically writes date/time, map + class).
thinking about a market garden video. the frag type maybe a little stale but what matters more right now is execution. since i'll be using uncletopia clips, there will be map variety, which is good - lessens staleness. hopefully this project will move me even closer into dealing with cooler/more obscure clips to give them good justice.
i'll be further sorting my market garden clips, see which ones are more worthy for a video.
if plans change, then i will make another update – things more inclined with paying customers/supporters
