Billy isn’t just a dog. He’s my daily companion, mobility support, and emotional anchor. Trained to respond to my medical needs, Billy provides the stability and safety that lets me stay independent, parent my son, and avoid unnecessary hospitalizations during flare-ups.

He sits beside me during pain spikes. He alerts me when I’m about to fall. He stays calm and present when CRPS takes over. Billy has literally saved my life — more than once.

Why I’m Asking for Your Help

While Billy does his job without question, the cost of keeping him healthy, trained, and cared for is rising. Veterinary bills, food, specialist gear, and regular check-ups are essential — and they’re getting harder to manage, especially when illness affects income.

Right now, we’re facing urgent vet bills we simply can’t cover on our own.

If Billy isn’t at his best, I can’t be at mine. And without him, even basic things — like getting out of bed safely or looking after my son — become impossible.
