💛 My Story – The Pain That Changed Everything

I am Bhaskar Banerjee, a journalist, AI-assisted content creator, and single father from Kolkata. After losing my wife to pancreatic cancer, I am raising our daughter alone while caring for my elderly mother.

I was living a simple, happy life with my wife Munmun Banerjee and our little daughter. Everything shattered when my wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2025. Medical reports from Spandandan Diagnostic Centre (May 2025) confirmed SOL in the head of the pancreas – Ca Pancreas, with metastasis to the liver and obstructive features. Despite all efforts, she left us on 21 May 2025, as per the official death certificate issued by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Today, I am a single father raising our daughter alone, while also caring for my sick elderly mother. Both depend completely on me. This tragedy taught me the harsh reality: cancer doesn’t just take a life – it destroys entire families emotionally, financially, and forever changes a child’s future.

I am not alone. Thousands of families in India face the same silent suffering – losing loved ones to cancer, struggling with medical bills, grief, and uncertainty for their children.

This platform is my mission: to stand beside cancer-affected families, especially those with young children or dependent elders. Through your support, I want to provide small help – financial aid, emotional support, or resources – so no family feels completely alone.
