Beyond the Boat explores the people and communities who keep wooden boats alive — owners, craftspeople, captains, educators, and stewards — and what it means to care for something that carries history, skill, and meaning.
Voices of Model Yachting grew out of a different idea: preserving the stories, experiences, and knowledge of those who have helped shape the model-yachting world.
Both projects are really about the same thing—listening to people, preserving their stories, and sharing what they’ve learned along the way.
