Better Your Finance was founded by a nationally Certified Financial Literacy Professional℠ (CFLP℠) and Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®), credentials issued by the National Financial Educators Council and recognized by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

The founder’s passion for financial literacy comes from personal experience. Raised by a single mother, a refugee with only a first grade education, life was a constant struggle, relying on public assistance and low-income housing to get by. Those early challenges sparked a lifelong commitment to financial education as a tool for empowerment, economic mobility, and breaking the cycle of poverty.

At Better Your Finance, we believe it is a serious failure of the public education system that financial literacy is not a core subject. Without it, too many people, especially in marginalized communities, are left vulnerable to financial hardship. Our mission is to change that by making financial education accessible and practical for all ages.

Through straightforward explanations, real-world examples, and actionable advice, Better Your Finance helps people take control of their money, make smarter financial choices, and build a more secure future, not just for themselves but for generations to come.

This project is a labor of love, built on the belief that financial knowledge should be available to everyone. If you share this vision and want to support the movement, every contribution helps bring financial education to more people, creating a brighter, more financially empowered future for all.
