Bette has been a songwriter for many years, spanning many topics including songs about heartbreak, friendships, disability, homelessness, and even food! 

Dating & sex comes up in much of her songwriting, including "Queen Daddy" about BDSM, "Dirty Talk" about phone sex, "I'm Not Flirting With You (I'm Just Hot)" and the fan-favourite - "The Snapchat Song" written about consent & being sent unsolicited 🍆images.   

As well as advocating for DV victim-survivors through her album, "AVO Bitch" and spreading awareness of Breast Cancer with her informative and inclusive "Touch Your Tits", Bette is also passionate about accessibility in the music industry!

It was through this activism that she was approached by disability-lead company Tibi Access to open the fully accessible music festival, “Groove Tunes” in 2023 and model for their company "High Roller".

Bette has also performed at other festivals, including South Yarra Festival and Melbourne Ukulele Festival for many years (her name prominently displaced on their official merch, every year).

Over the years, Bette has also had success on Atomic radio's Top 20 Countdown, having not only held number 1 position for weeks, twice, but also, has gotten multiple songs in Atomic radio’s annual top 100 countdowns and was recently interviewed on 88FM for "Indie Spotlight Melbourne".

Her star is only burning brighter.
