I'm Jonathan Tysick, a Canadian living in South Africa. I wear a lot of glasses and have a lot of questions. I’ve completed theology degrees on two continents and am currently working on a third (degree and continent) — which probably just means I have even more (hopefully richer) questions than I started with.

Bespectacled & Curious is primarily an interview show where I interrogate Christian scholars (usually theologians and Bible scholars), artists, and others about things that matter. I’m especially interested in how theology and the Bible intersect with art, culture, and the way we actually live.

Thank you for supporting me and my work, it means a lot!
