**Post-Op Day 6: Small Wins & Strong Support**

Today marks six days since my shoulder surgery, and I’m starting to settle into a new rhythm—one that’s slower, more intentional, and definitely humbling.

Physical therapy has officially become part of my daily routine. It’s not easy. Every movement reminds me that healing isn’t passive—it takes effort, patience, and sometimes a deep breath before pushing through discomfort. The exercises are small, but they feel big. Lifting my arm even slightly or completing a set without stopping feels like progress worth celebrating.

I’m learning that recovery isn’t linear. Some moments I feel stronger and more hopeful, and other times I’m sore, tired, and a little frustrated. But I keep reminding myself: this is part of the process. My body is doing exactly what it needs to do—heal.

One of the biggest blessings through all of this has been my husband. I truly don’t know what I would do without him right now. From helping me get dressed to making sure I stay on top of my meds and even just being there when I’m feeling overwhelmed—he’s been my rock. It’s not easy needing help with things you’re used to doing on your own, but having someone show up for you with love and patience makes all the difference.

I’m slowly adjusting to asking for help, resting when I need to, and giving myself grace. Healing isn’t a race—it’s a journey. And today, six days in, I’m proud of how far I’ve come already.
