This year in animation has been a real rollercoaster. The lack of work has been incredibly challenging, and it's been a constant struggle to keep my head above water while providing for my family. It's been a deeply depressing experience at times.
But I kept creating, even if it was just for myself. This video is a testament to that perseverance. It's about a puppet trying to animate clay, and honestly, it mirrors my own experience – facing obstacles, feeling defeated, but ultimately finding a way to push through.
Creating this video was a form of therapy for me. It was a way to process the frustrations and celebrate the small victories, even in the face of a tough year.
And here we are, at the end of the year. It wasn't intentional, but somehow this video feels like a fitting way to close out 2024.
