Hey and welcome to another post.
So I have no idea if this buy me a coffee thing is worth my time anymore...no reaction except for one awesome person who bought me like in 1 coffee, I don't know you but thank you so much!
I digress but some support even just a like or comment on a public post would be great..anyway.
So this morning I had a awesome conversation with a friend of mine that I have met on Instagram. You can check out his two accounts @ https://www.instagram.com/bnw_greyscale/ or https://www.instagram.com/quaniet_richards/. Guy is a amazing street and documentary photographer. He has a very keen eye to capture moments on the streets of Cape town, South Africa. The conversion was about how ig is such a good platform to connect,share and support fellow photographers/artists. I totally agree with him because us photographers are mostly people who spend a lot of our time by ourselves and having people who you can talk to and who supports you with kind words is really a blessing that can not be measured in words, deeds or money.
So we started sharing each others images and works. The amount of new followers and support I have gained from this is amazing!! The feeling of community and love just awesome! So what is my point here?
Well mostly to inspire others to seek out people who is willing to support you because after all we are social beings and need the positive energies others can give. A sense of belonging and a way to know your on the right path or even just being pushed to create better work ever so now and then is highly beneficial to growing as a creative. I hope this makes sense haha
