About Beatrice Rose Clother
I am a theatre maker and solo performer currently touring my show 'Sex, Drugs and DnB'. Its an autobiographical piece of work exploring addiction and recovery. So far, the show has empowered audiences to use their voice and believe their story matters. Its a story that has to be told and will continue to make an impact. This being said..putting on a show is EXPENSIVE. Marketting, venue hire, costume, travel, accommodation not to mention the hours and hours of work that goes into writing and rehearsing. This has been hours of unpaid work for the artist (me) and the people who've been kind enough to collaborate with me. I am grateful to have had the time and resources to develop and tour the work so far, help me continue (and maybe even pay myself for my time as well as getting more people on board to make the work even better!)
Here's some more info about what you're supporting:
In England, the drug and alcohol related death rates have been on the rise since 2011.
A rising problem that needs to be understood…
and what better way to understand than to listen to a girlie telling you about addiction AND recovery?
An autobiographical piece.. Showcasing poignant, real world stories. Be among the first people to witness a recovering addict turn their experience into art (a solo performance). Trust me, its going to be one hell of a ride… some would even say an emotional rollercoaster.
Get ready to laugh.. Maybe cry and vibe to some banging drum and bass tunes. Understanding addiction means we collectively have the power to positively affect the rising problem of drug and alcohol related death rates… because stigma is a killer…

Bear witness to tales from the bottle and beyond. Be part of the movement destigmatising addiction and recovery, but most importantly, lets party!
