It keeps my lights on and puts food on my table. You would have to listen to a single song 333 times so I could earn a dollar on any given streaming platform, and while I hope you’re digging the music that much, I’d like a better relationship with you. It seems that our society has devalued the work of musicians and artists because large format companies spoon feed us all the content we could ever see for free. Though, it isn’t free, these companies make a ton of revenue selling ad space beside entertainment that they don’t create. Artists rarely see any of that revenue.
