Music for Film and TV, and Educational Videos
Hi! How are you? My name is Bartolomé, and I am a Music Composer for Film and TV.
From Lima, Peru, I grew up surrounded by stories. My musical journey began by playing the violin and being a member of my home school's string orchestra. As I gained musical maturity, I began to notice the presence of film scores and their importance in each movie. I began to notice how I had grown up surrounded by iconic themes, and as my curiosity grew, I fell in love with the possibility of becoming a film composer. Here I am now.
Beyond being a Music Composer for Film and TV, I am passionate about all things related to storytelling and education. I believe sharing knowledge about what makes these stories we love so great keeps us motivated to continue and make better ones.
As a result, beyond being a composer, I launched two lines of content. Firstly, The Spotting Session is a newsletter that discusses film music. The idea is to offer a gate to the world of film music, its importance and value, and weekly thought-provoking insights. Secondly, Thematic Breakdowns on my YouTube channel is a series of videos dedicated to exploring the themes we love the most and why they are so great at what they do.
So, I hope you enjoy the content I create and share the knowledge and inspiration with those you care about through your work.
Thank you for the support,
Bartolomé
