Above them in the center is planet Jupiter, and in front of it is a big flock of birds. On each side of the Jupiter is a bigger bird with its wings open, and some stars in white behind them. On the top left corner is an illustration of the sun with stars hanging from it, and on the right top corner the same illustration, but with the moon. The background is a blue sky crossed by a rainbow from the top left to the bottom right.}

New Moon: 1˚ Sagittarius 37’ | GMT: November 23, 2022, 10:57 pm | EDT: November 23, 2022, 5:57 pm

After the rough weeks of the Scorpio lunation, the ingress of three planets in Sagittarius has shifted the mood towards a more positive and hopeful perspective. I hope you were able to let go of what you no longer need, and found a way of saying the goodbyes that needed to be said. I know I did.

And now, here we are, on the other side of the eclipse season. Hopefully, with a renewed sense of who we are and of what is really important to us.

The present lunation, that began with the Sagittarius new moon on November 23, brings back the confidence and optimism to pick up that dream that we had to put on a shelve for the last couple of weeks, or even months.

The sign of Sagittarius

The double-bodied centaur is the last of the fire signs. As all other mutable signs, it has a double nature — in this case: half man, half horse; half consciousness, half instinct. The instinct wants to let the fire run free, free of rules and free of boundaries. The consciousness wants to know where and why their fire is going, what is guiding their freedom.

Ruled by the bodacious Jupiter, this sign always wants broaden their horizons, and they can be adventurous travellers or learned scholars. One way or another they will venture themselves beyond the limits of their reality. Probably, the hardest thing to do is knowing when enough is enough, as they can overdo everything they get involved in.

Mercury and Venus co-present in Sagittarius

Two of the personal planets, chatty Mercury and gregarious Venus, are about ten degrees ahead in the same sign as the lights. Our personal interactions are also lightening up, we feel more positive and optimistic, and we are more open to trust each other, and more receptive to establishing connections and relationships.

Just be mindful of not spreading yourself too thin, as the adventurous nature of Sagittarius would like to be everywhere with everybody.

Jupiter stationing direct in Pisces

As I said before, the generous and unbounded Jupiter is the host of this new moon. This planet was retrograding since the end of July, has now stopped its pace, and is about to go direct — just five minutes after the new moon.

Maybe you had a project that you were beginning to launch back then, and then, for some reason, it was either delayed, dropped or just lost momentum. Maybe you just wanted to stop things for a while so that you could revisit the concept — was this your initial idea?, is it still following your vision?, are you still aligned with this plan?

Meanwhile, you went back to the dream you had that prompted that project, and were able to reevaluate and readjust your course of action. The direction you want to go is now more defined and you’re ready to get things going again. Either with this project, or with something else more in tune with who you are.

Mars retrograding in Gemini trine Saturn in Aquarius

But don’t be too eager to speed things up. Dynamic Mars is in its retrograde motion in the sign of Gemini, and there’s probably some planning that needs to be made before you can put anything up.

The good news are that Mars is forming a very favorable connection with Saturn, the planet of structure and limits. You’re be able to understand the conditionings and bounds of your idea, and this will allow you to tailor your work according to the real possibilities, helping you avoid major disappointments ahead.

New Moon Synthesis

What were you dreaming about last June? What vision did you want to put forward? What have you left in the back burner in the meantime? With what you know now, are still behind that idea or do you need to drop it?

I’m sure that by now you already know what to do, and how to update your project. Maybe you even realized that updating it means simply replacing it with something more in tune with your truth.

Whatever you want to accomplish, remember these:

One, think about how your dream can benefit the collective. Hope needs to be shared.
Two, find the people who are looking in the same direction as you are. We need the support of our tribe.
Three, remember to rest along the way. Selfcare is the first form love.
