I’m raising funds to build a safe outdoor cat enclosure attached to my front deck for the rescued cats I care for in my rural Oklahoma home. This space will let them enjoy fresh air, sunlight, and room to roam, all while keeping them safe from predators and bad actors in the area.
The enclosure will be around 40 feet long, ¾ covered for protection from rain and snow, and ¼ open for sunbathing and lounging. It will include catwalk ledges, a false tree for climbing and play, and plenty of space for exercise. It will also double as an extended potty area, helping reduce indoor mess and future home repairs.
🛠️ How Funds Will Be Used
Funds will go directly toward construction materials like cement posts, chicken wire, 4x4 beams, hardware, and basic tools. The total cost of the project is about $1,500. Any extra donations will go toward helping me file for nonprofit status so I can do even more to help animals in need in my community.
I care for these cats with very limited means—I live on SSDI and receive just $34/month in food assistance, which makes this project impossible without help. But I’m committed to doing right by them.
