À propos bakooda
Hi, I'm the maker of Bakooda (bakooda.com), a free tool that opens, edits and converts Korean HWP/HWPX, PDF and Word files right in your browser.
It started with a simple frustration: Korean schools, offices and government agencies still send documents in HWP, and anyone without Hangul installed — on a Mac, a phone, or outside Korea — gets stuck. So I built a way to read and convert them with nothing to install.
One rule I never break: your files never leave your device. Everything runs inside your browser, so contracts, applications and personal papers stay private.
Bakooda is run by just me, and most people use it for free. Your support goes straight into:
- keeping the servers running and the free tier generous
- better conversion quality (tables, layouts, fonts)
- new tools and more languages
If Bakooda saved you time or got you out of a "can't open this file" moment, a coffee means a lot. Thank you for being part of it! ☕
