Tabletop roleplaying games don't have to be about fantasy worlds, dragons, wizards, and trolls. They can be about coffee roasters, newborn babies and their nannies, and extreme racers in a fast-paced chase. You can press your luck as a wild west gunslinger, roll your way into conquest in the wrestling ring, or traverse a post-apocalyptic neon-noir urban landscape as a barber with a certain set of skills.

I'm Zach W. Lorton, designer and content creator at Back Burner Games.
I make RPGs and RPG content designed for story-forward play using minimally designed mechanics and statistics.
