So the other day I won $1,570. I made a total of four mistakes and was distracted twice. I probably missed out on roughly two to $4,000 because of that. I can't complain though because my current record is 21 and 3. For myself I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my gambling ability is far beyond luck. My wife and I have agreed that at $50,000 profit I can go pro. I recently acquired two more investors. Every time I go to the casino I meet new people. And the words of Kanye West,

In a past pursuit, I put some serious limitation on myself as far as success was concerned as a musician. Everything you need to succeed is already in you, but I was always having this feeling that I needed something outside of me. I never pretended to be the best, and I never believed that what I had was enough. Somehow I've managed to convince myself, true or not, that I am the best baccarat player in the world. The beauty of this belief is that you're not in opposition to anyone or in competition with anyone. The casino is your opponent and they never get better. While I improve every time I play, the baccarat shoe card distribution remains consistent.
Of course life has a peculiar counterbalance sometimes. My son was sick for 9 days and we had to go to the doctors twice. My expenses have tallied close to my winnings that day. Luckily I have a dream job for additional income. The doctor's really didn't do anything but it put my wife's fears at ease. I pretty much knew this would be the case, but sometimes your woman just needs to know how much you love. Your life mate being priority is both challenging and fulfilling. Yes make sacrifices to succeed, but in turn make sacrifices to demonstrate your love.
I suppose in some, if not many ways, I have had what people might label an unbalanced approach to life. I've made abrupt, life-changing decisions several times without warning to anyone. I don't feel the decisions were mistakes, but I'm certain I could have implemented my choices in a way that benefited people close to me. I've learned from those choices and now I'm taking my time with an optimistic mentality rather than one of imprisonment. Granted, making lots of money gives you a certain feel of freedom. And yet, patience is still a virtue after all.
