Today is pub day for my biography of Dorothy L. Sayers, and for this week only I'm going to emerge from my social-media Faraday cage and answer questions about her and about the experience of writing this book. I won't be here all the time — I have teaching to do — but I will check in whenever I can. Sayers is a fascinating person and I had a great time writing about her, so it's kind of nice to have her back in my mind again. That's one of the funny things about writing books: it occupies you so completely until you sign off on the final galley, after which you move on to other things — and then when the book is published, you think O right, I wrote this. How did that go again?
Anyway, here I am.
