Hey everyone,
I’m writing this with a level of gratitude that’s hard to put into words. This is the first time I’ve reached out in this format, and I wanted to be completely real with you about where we are.
Two weeks ago, "Whispers in the Smoke" was just a file on my hard drive. Because of your support, it’s out in the world. We didn’t just hit the goal—we blew past it. That gave me the fuel to keep climbing when the path as an independent artist felt a little too quiet.
The Reality of the Climb: The long-term vision is an album, released brick by brick, single by single. But the immediate "short-term" is the real battle. Right now, the goal is visibility. In today’s world, the "gatekeepers" and curators—the people who can push this sound to the masses—are watching the data. They see every comment, every share, and every second of watch time. My challenge is getting this music in front of the right ears on YouTube and Spotify, and honestly, my hurdles are our hurdles. When the algorithm wins, we all win.
What’s happening in the next 7 days:
The Next Single: I’m submitting the next track for distribution this week to stay on a 6-8 week release cycle.
The Visuals: I’m heading back out to capture a new side of the city. We need fresh B-roll to keep the storytelling as high-end as the music.
Recording #3: We’re changing the logistics for the third track—recording it differently to capture a rawer, more immediate energy.
