The End of Massachusetts
I was slow in sharing my Appalachian Trail journey because I didn’t want it to be “over” in my head. I didn’t want the memories to fade. I’ve been sitting with post-trail depression, and that hasn’t been easy to admit.
Massachusetts was state number six — and it was beyond
anything I imagined. With every mile I hiked, I found myself not only moving forward on trail, but longing for more in my own life — personally and professionally.
And now, as I prepare for my 7th state — Georgia — for 2026… my heart is full of gratitude.
