When I bought my standard range Tesla Model Y, I optioned it with these beautiful 20 inch matte black Induction wheels instead of getting the 19 inch Geminis.
But next to the 21 inch Uberturbine wheels, I think the Induction wheels look incomplete because of its recessed centre wheel cap.
Good news DIY’ers because I found the perfect complement to these induction wheels and at just under AUD20, it’s ridiculous not to install them! Installation
Grab one centre wheel cap from the box
Take note where the dimple on the inner wall and the three locking tabs are located
Align the dimple to the bottom of the Tesla logo and the locking tabs to the slots right there
Then push it in until you hear a click
Make sure all the edges sit flush and it’s that easy
Just look how it dramatically improves the appearance of these induction wheels. That’s money well spent, thank you very much Tesla.
